º    Goetia was formed in late 2006 and entered studio in early 2007 to   º
º    record their first single "Heliotrope". After a few shows, Goetia    º
º    went through a lineup change to become the band they are today with  º
º    Matt Tessier (guitar/vocals), Benoît Groulx (guitar/vocals), Frank   º
º    Beecher (bass/synth) and Chris Emery (percussions). After touring    º
º    in Canada for a short period, the band entered studio again in 2009  º
º    to record what would become their first full length album, entitled  º
º    "Le Vide", released in 2013. Drawing influences from acts such as    º
º    Giant (Braveyoung), Mouth of the Architect and Cult of Luna, Goetia  º
º    focuses on delivering atmospheric sludgy post-metal riffs with       º
º    ambient passages through lengthy songs.                              º
