De politie tast volledig in het duister wanneer de lichamen van mannelijke slachtoffers in stukken gehakt worden gevonden. De druk neemt nog eens toe als een van de slachtoffers de zoon van een politicus blijkt te zijn. Rechercheur Shin heeft nog een laatste troef in handen in de vorm van de huurmoordenaar Tai die op dat moment in de gevangenis zit. Met zijn expertise op het gebied van opsporen hoopt de politie de dader te pakken te krijgen. Daarvoor krijgt Tai vijftien dagen de tijd voordat nieuwe slachtoffers vallen.
