Developed by Appaloosa Interactive, Contra: Legacy of War is the series' first installment on a CD-based console, featuring three-dimensional game environments. Set as a direct sequel to Contra: Hard Corps, this game also has four different playable characters, each with a different set of weapons. A 3D vision mode can be enjoyed with the help of a pair of special glasses that is originally included with the game.
