            Û  My home, Greece, is regarded as one of the most     Û
            Û  productive countries in metal music. The scene of   Û
            Û  thrash metal could actually be paralleled with the  Û
            Û  German scene in the mid ’80s. The bands and the     Û
            Û  albums are coming out every day and the meaning of  Û
            Û  the underground touches the light of overground.    Û
            Û  Demon Prayers tend to take place among many other   Û
            Û  ambitious bands.                                    Û
            Û  “Evoke the Pain” is not a debut that smashes        Û
            Û  everything else has been released, but the          Û
            Û  promised endeavor of those young guys can turn you  Û
            Û  on. Nothing new and yet not disinterested. Riffs    Û
            Û  everywhere, some of them say “Thank you, Suicidal   Û
            Û  Angels, for what you have shown and we’ll keep      Û
            Û  observing you”. Others have the smell of black      Û
            Û  metal from the early days of Sodom (“Damnation      Û
            Û  Enslaved”) and the solos are the typical ones make  Û
            Û  you saying to yourself “Hey, grab your air –        Û
            Û  guitar and work out your neck!”. The song that      Û
            Û  really grabbed me is the instrumental one           Û
            Û  “Atonement”; the way of the riffing can stuck you   Û
            Û  looking in the vacancy.                             Û
            Û  They still need work, in order to do what they      Û
            Û  have started even better. The choir parts in the    Û
            Û  album makes much sense and they show that they      Û
            Û  want to do things promoting their sign. Of course,  Û
            Û  all the young bands had their affects remarkable    Û
            Û  in their debuts and the beginning of Demon Prayers  Û
            Û  is absolute positive!                               Û
